As you know, many buildings of school fell down during the earthquake in WenChuan, We wanted to raise some fund by selling our used books、clothes or stationery in spare and so on. So we invited all the faculty and students as well as some local enterprises to attend it. It was held by the student union at the playground at 9am last Sunday and last until 5pm. The total income made in one day was surprisingly as much as about 1,4500 yuan. it has been sent to a local school in WenChuan. Also it was benefical for us, firstly it is a way to get rid of stuffs no long in use and secondly we can save money by buying second hand .I hope we can have this kind of activity in regular like at the beginning of each semester.
