Recently,the test of TOEFL and SAT becomes more and more popular among chinese students.These are tests designed measure students' ability of english.I wonder if there is a test to examine our own language,will I gain the full score?Actually,it won't.As a native speaker of chinese,we are good at using language but we are not good enough to get to know our own language.In fact,with the popularity of computer and tablets,people are getting used to keyboards more than to handwriting.Despite writing essays for chinese tests,we rarely need to write anything during daily life.Therefore,we do not know our own language.I bet few people in china can read and understand ancient poems without the interpretation from teachers.It's time for us to get ready to really learn our own language and pass on to the next generation.
