Abstract
This paper mainly introduces such a process during which the documentary films developed from silent films to sound ones and gradually accepted by people.This paper first introduces the important components of the documentary films and then discusses the explorations for the dubbed sounds in such films,and many examples are used to prove the importance of sound to the documentary films,and finally exhibits the impacts the dubbed sounds have on the documentary films.
