From my perspective of view,independence is very important for human beings.Still,we are connected in the world.No body could live alone in the world.
We're raised by our parents.They set examples for us.That explains why the children have many similarities with their parents.Meanwhile,parents always pay for our expenses during our growth.That's a strong proof that we are not entirely independent.
However,to some extent,independence is critical to us.You have to leave home,go for work when you grow up.
To sum up,we should draw a balance with independence and dependence.
