我看书上看非谓语动词时,说做宾语时,如果在see后面出现的不定式不带to,那这里的fall into the lake是做什么的宾语呢?主语和谓语又是什么呢?

这个句子的主语是Eric,谓语是sprang和went（and连接的并列谓语）.

看你的说明,你应该是没有理解前面的这个部分：

On seeing the young child fall into the lake做的是整个句子的时间状语.on doing这个结构,在含义上相当于as soon as,也就是表示“一.就.”.在这个分词短语中,seeing就是谓语,the young child是宾语,fall into the lake 就是宾语补足语.这里就是see sb.do sth.的结构了.

实际上,see这个动作也是主语Eric发出的,但是这里使用了分词结构.如果把这个结构转成从句的话,就好理解了：

As soon as Eric saw the young child fall into the lake,he sprang to his feet and went on the rescue.
