为什么呢,因为用了of的所有格,一般都是表示非具体的东西的,抽象的,或者是无生命的.
比如the handle of the umbrella 伞的把 * the lid of the box 箱子的盖.
the role of the teacher 教师的职责 * the rights of man 人的权利
而表示具体的所有,不是用撇s形式,就是用of + 所有格.这里的意思也是正如上面所说,表示某人所有的众多者中的一个.
friend of mine 我的朋友
an acquaintance of my wife's 我妻子认识的人
that house of yours in the country 你在乡下的那所房子
这里a friend of my father's 最后的father's是一个名词性所有格.
正如mine=my pen一样,my father's = my father's friends
B这是指,我父亲朋友中的一个.
A本身形式是错误的,因为of表所有的时候不用于指具体人或物的所属概念.
