这本书是说从前有一只怪兽叫Griffle ,他独自一人在一个没人住的城堡里居住.而然,有一天一个小女孩无意的跑进去玩,跟他从此就认识了,从那天起,他们就总是一起玩,到处捉迷藏,每天过着幸福,快乐的生活.最后她睡醒,而刚刚那一些快乐的影像其实全都是梦境而已.

故事用生动的手法描述人物的行动,而结尾指出这是一个梦境,故事说明其实生活中一些眼看快乐的事未必是事实,我们要从客观方向看待,不要太沉醉于快乐.

Once upon a time,there's a monster named Griffle.He lived in a castle with no people in it.Yet one day,a little girl went into the castle by accident,and met Griffle the monster.

Starting from that day,the two of them played together,playing hide-and-seek all the time and live happily without worry everyday.At the end,the little girl realizes that all those happy scenes were just a dream when she wakes up from a long nap.

The story uses realistic words to describe the characters actions,yet the ending of the story points out that everything was actually a dream.The moral of the story tells us that in real life,some things that seem happy to us might not be the truth,so we have to face the truth of the situation instead of being fooled by what the situation might seem to us.
