1.宾语是动作的承受者,一般置于及物动词之后.

例如:

Our team beat all the others(我们的球对击败了其他的球队).all the others 就是宾语

You can leave your luggage with me(你可以把你的行李放我这里).your luggage 就是宾语

2.有时为了强调,宾语也可置于句首,例如:

Two weeks you shall have(你可以有两周时间)

A log of help i get from you,young lady!(我可得到你不少的帮助啊,年轻的姑娘!)

3.宾语还可表示其它关系,有时及物动词与宾语的关系并不是动作与承受动作者的关系,而是下列一些关系,

*使役的关系:

please let me through.

I must have my hair cut soon

*宾语是动作的结果

She made a fire

I baked a cake

*宾语是动作的目的

They kissed good-bye
