手译的来了,感觉作为free talk句子有些复杂.
My sister is a 13 years old first-year junior high school student this year. Yesterday evening, right before supper, she brought me her English homework, and asked me for help with a blank filling quiz. She tranlated the sentence into Chinese and thought "but" was the key, but then was puzzled that there wasn't an option for "but". I think her way of thinking for the quiz is missing the point. You should not translate the sentence into Chinese, but put all the options into the sentence to find which is the best answer. I think the way of thinking is important for learning a foreign language, sometimes our mother tongue may be a hinder.
