In a resteraunt:
在一个餐厅里：
(After having lunch,the old woman stood up from her table and walked to a young man sitting at a table next to hers)
一个老女人吃完了午饭站起身来走到邻桌的一位年轻男子身旁
The old woman:"Pardon me,I'm sorry if my looking at you has made you feel not good.It's just that you look just like my son,who just died recently"
她说：“对不起,很抱歉如果我这样看着你让你感觉不好了.我的儿子刚刚去世,你长得非常像他”
The young man:"I'm very sorry.Is there anything I can do for you?"
年轻男人说：“不好意思,有什么事情我可以帮忙吗?”
The old woman:"Yes.As I'm leaving,can you say 'Good bye,Mother'?It would make me feel so much better"
老女人说：“是的,当我离开时,你可不可以说一声‘妈妈再见’?”
The young man:"Sure"
男子说：“当然可以”
(As the old woman was leaving...)
正当这位老女人离开的时候...
The young man called out:"Goodbye,Mother"
男子喊道：“妈妈再见”
(Later,When he finished his lunch,a waiter came to show his bill)
过了一会儿,当他吃完午饭,一个服务生走过来给了帐单
The young man shouted:"127.5 dollars!How can that be?I only ordered one dish!"
男子喊出声来：“127.5美元!,这怎么可能呢?我只点了一个菜啊!”
The waiter said:"Your mother said that you would pay for her."
服务生说：“你的妈妈说你要给她付账.”
