I am very happy to hear that you are going to learn Chinese.Learning Chinese just like learning other language, is hard work so if you want to learn Chinese well you'd better spend lots of time on it every day and take every opportunity to practice using Chinese. You should take a Chinese course so that you can learn faster with the teacher's help. What's more, you'd better listen to Chinese programs and read Chinese magazines and books.
