What Can We Do for Environmental Protection?

It goes without saying that our environment is getting worse and worse.The rivers and lakes are polluted by the waste water let out by factories,and the air is polluted by the gases given off by cars.In some areas,the air is polluted so seriously that the people living there can hardly breathe.But,to our delight,people have realized the importance of environmental protection----to protect environment means to protect our lives.What's more,some measures have been taken to stop the pollution.As individuals,we can also do something for it.For example,we're not supposed to use plastic bags when shopping or to drop rubbish everywhere.We should write on both sides of the paper.Meanwhile,we should put on slogans on the walls of the buildings,calling on people to take actions to protect our environment.
