To know more about environmental protection and to collect more necessary data for further study,the Students' Union organized some students to collect rubbish in a region in our city.After the activity,we collcted nearly two ton of rubbish for future recycling.In addition,we tried to arouse people's environmental awareness during that,which was highly appreciated.
After this activity,we found some problems in existence.First of all,wasting is a common and severe phenomenon.Undone lunch,second-hand electrical appliances and so on were seen everywhere.Secondly,citizens lack a sense of environmental protection.Some,worse still,couldn't understand what we were doing and even laughed at us.
Here I have some suggestions to share.We should appeal to everyone to protect our only homeland.Only in this way can we make a difference.In addition,it's necessary and important to categorize the rubbish,which makes it possible to recycle the used waste.
