分析：句意“林顿夫人只受过如此少的教育,以至不能够获得这份工作.”

这里主要是区分用such…that还是so…that.

education“教育,学历”,是不可数的抽象名词.只有这种情况例外：要说“一种良好的教育”,那么它就可以受到不定冠词的修饰而表述为a good education了.在这一题中,明显不是说一种…的教育,而是指受教育程度很少,是用作正常的不可数抽象名词,因此不能用冠词修饰.排除C,D.

另外,要特别注意：little在此是“几乎没有,一点,很少的”,表示的是否定的语气；而不是“小的”这个含义.

当名词前的形容词为表示数目的词,即有many/much/few /little（这里 little是“几乎没有,一点,很少的”的意思,而不是 “小的” ）修饰名词时,只能用so,不能用such.这是固定搭配.楼上的朋友是没有注意到这一点.所以排除A,选择B.

附：such和so的用法区别

1、such后面主要是修饰名词.即：such＋a/an＋adj.＋n.或a/an＋such＋adj.＋n..如果名词是不可数名词或复数名词,则不可以用不定冠词a或an.如：

①He has such a beautiful bike.We all go to see it.

②It's a such fine day.We all want to go to fly a kite.

2、so后面一般只能跟形容词或副词.即：和so＋adj./adv..不过,so后面也可以跟名词,但该名词必须是单数可数名词.用法为：so+形容词+a/an+单数可数名词.如：

①The tiger is so big.And the cat is so small.

②She is so lovely a girl.

3、它们后面还可以与that从句连用.即：such…that和so…that意思是“如此……以致……”.这时的区别也同上两点.如：

①She is such a clever girl that she can make much progress in math

exam.

②His brother is so young that he can't go to school.

注意：当名词前的形容词为表示数目的词,即有many/much/few /little（这里 little是“几乎没有一点”的意思,而不是 “小的” ）修饰名词时,such必须换成so.这是固定搭配.如：

①There are so many people that we can't go past.

②I ate so much food that I didn't want to go any farther.

看这一句话：He is such a little boy that he can't read or write.

这一句话中的a little不是“一点”的意思,而是“一个小的”的意思,所以,前面仍然用such,而不用so.
