Every school has their own school rules. As you know, school rules are like laws of schools, but a number of students hate it and don't obey the rules. They said, " School rules are useless and we know what we should do." Are school rules necessary? Let me tell you the answer. Why do teachers make school rules? First, teachers create school rules in order to give students a safe and nice learning environment. School rules are good for keeping schools harmonious. A good learning environment can help students study better. Second, school rules can help teachers regulate the behavior of student and teach them what they should do and shouldn't in school. Teachers may not teach us how to avoid these terrible things in detail and some students may give in to curiosity to try doing them . So, telling these students what they mustn't do is one of the most important duties of school rules. Sometimes punishment is a better teacher. Third, school rules are similar to laws and they can help students know how to live rightly in society. School rules tell them, if they don't obey the rules, they will be punished and regret for a long time. Reproving is better than prison, many students will learn a lot from it. Not all of school rules are same. Some schools may have very strict school rules to limit students and some schools' rules may be not so strict that students can be freer. For example, my junior high school's school rules are different from my senior high school's rules. When I stayed in my junior high school, we were told not to do lots of things. We have to wear school uniform in our school and we can't keep a long hair.
