this is the house where I live

this is the car which I just bought

this is the house in which I live

(in + which 变成”位置“关系)

where do you ...用 where

反之,如果问题形式是 which do you ...,用which

例:

where do you live?=》 this is the house where I live

which is the car you own =》 this is the car which I own

which house did you live in?=》 this is the house in which I lived

Go where the action is (接连词 where)

Run fast and be home in time (接副词 fast)

He looks happy (接形容词 happy)

We will have doing this job a very competent young man from New York.(接 have doing)
