I used to a lazy student in the past.At that time,I got up at nearly half past seven ,and went to school in the hurry.And I didn't do my homework by myself and just to copied my classmates' the next day.But now,I become more and more diligent.I get up at 6 o'clock,and I read some English books.Then ,I go to school on foot.A big change for me now is that I finish homework all by myself.I know if I keep doing so,I will be better and better.Today is New Year's Day,the sun is shining brightly out side.I have finished my homework,and now,I'm going to my grandfather's house.I still remember the day when I was five,it was such a happy day just like now,I played with my sister in my grandpa's garden.I hope that I can play with her a few hours later.Great Changes in My Hometown I used to live in a small town with trees all around.There was no tall building and the only street was narrow.Just outside the town,there was a river.You can see different kinds of fish swimming in the clear water.People here lived a simple life.Great changes have taken place here.You can see tall buildings,big department stores and factories everywhere.Different kinds of cars and buses are running in the big streets.But with the development of the industry,we have fewer trees.Air and water pollution is becoming more and more serious.We must do something to stop pollution and make our town even more beautiful.
