不得不说一句,楼上的两个把not改成don't的建议,都是不对的.
应该是"not bending...but focusing...",这里not..but...是并列结构,把用动名词形式做动宾式主语比较好.
不介意的话,我来帮你修改一下吧.除了一些动词、动名词、单复数的小错误外,我觉得还有更顺畅的方式表达你的意思.
另：我不是特别清楚bend的所有用法,但真的没有见过用在眼神上的.
