你们老师说的这个词组用法极不地道,老外没这么说的,虽然appeal 有吸引的意思.

用be tempted to:意为to want something or to want to do something:例子

1、"Did you apply for that job?" "Well, I was very tempted but in the end I decided not to."

2、I was sorely (= very) tempted to resign after my boss was so rude to me.

appeal的用法 vi. 例句：sth. appeals to sb.
