When measuring ultra-thin materials, sometimes it cause wrong results called a "double refraction" , to show the results with twice of actual thickness. Another kind of wrong results is called "pulse enveloping, circulation jumping", that is, the result is greater than the actual measured values. In order to prevent this kind of error, measurements should be repeated. When necessary, the minimum limited thickness can be measured by method of test-block measurement.
