With the development of the society,there is a tendency that some people want to attain a high degree in their education so as to prove that they are more competent in their ability.For one thing,in the competitive job market,a person with high degree will have more chances to find a good job than those who don’t have a high degree.For another ,people often think that an able person should have a high degree in their education.However,some people don’t agree that high degree equals to high ability.What is the reason?There are three reasons for this.First ,in most cases ,nowadays ,most people with high ability are very successful in their field without a high degree.Second,an able person will spend more time on their career instead of pursuing further education.Third,the true ability will result in the ultimate success while a high degree may not.In my opinion ,the high degree doesn’t necessarily equal to high ability.The ability play a decisive role in the final success of your career but a high degree may not.We should pay a lot of attention to the development of ability for an individual overall development instead of only getting a high degree.
