used to + do："过去常常"表示过去习惯性的动作或状态,但如今已不存在.

be used to + doing：对……已感到习惯,或"习惯于",to是介词,后需加名词或动名词.
He is used to a vegetarian diet.
Scarf is used to taking a walk.(现在习惯于散步)

*use...to（do)...利用...来做（达到某种目的）...

*use...for doing 表示指某物有什么作用.
use to do强调利用手段达到目的,是有计划,有意识的.而use for doing是（某物）的直接效用,没有“阴谋策划（这样说不很恰当,但便于你理解）”在里面.
