Chinese New Year, being a greatly celebrated holiday in China, has lots of cultural activities people should attend. There are makets and fairs with games and shops, selling new year celebrations to keep up the spirits. Chinese character 'Fu' would be pasted on doors as leading luck and happiness to the family for the coming year. Fireworks, which blast the sky into colorful patterns, is one of children's favourite activities. My loved food in the holiday is dumplings. I always looked forward to bite a coin or candy in the dumpling. The meaning for it is that whoever ate the stuffed 'luckiness' in the dumpling, they would be gifted the coming year. Red clothing, lively concerts, candy, hong bao... I am so looking forward to it!
