As an Englishman in the 14th Century, Sir John Hawkwood went to Italy with a band of soldiers.
The news was coming, that Hawkwood and his men were approaching. There came a panic among people, because all the citizens and farmers knew that he was a gangster, and he would be coming for the protection money.
The was began. Though the farmers fought bravely, they lost miserably; poorly armed, many were killed by Hawkwood's men. Kawkwood demanded his moeny, but the prince of city-state refused to pay him. So Hawkwood burned the farms. Screams were heard everywhere. They Hawkwood invaded the city, many buildings were destroyed, as well as people were killed.
Being in such situation the Prince had to compromise to Hawkwood and paid the money demanded. After getting payment, Hawkwood and his men left the village after a few days.
