I suggest my parents to pay a visit to the new neighbour,to check what kind of life they are having now.

If the new neighbour really has difficulty in daily life,such as they haven't enough money to buy the bowls,we should help them as much as we can;

or if they're so busy that they don't have time to go shopping,we can ask them whether we can help them to buy some bowls;

if they just forgot to return,we should tell them frankly about the return time,otherwise our own life will be influenced,and they will lose the trust from our side.
