去掉"you said in your letter",句子结构容易看清楚.顺便说一下,最后一个单词pursue是动词,用在这里是错误的,应该改成名词或动名词:pursual或pursuing.参考下面的句子：

Is this the village ___ your grandpa was once hidden from the enemy's pursuing?

在正式的英语中,in which是非限定性定语从句,要和主句隔开,where是限定性定语从句,不用隔开.

所以：

Is this the village where your grandpa was once hidden from the enemy's pursuing?

=Is this the village,in which your grandpa was once hidden from the enemy's pursuing?

所以答案选B.
