In my point of view, doing housework should be treated as a part of life. If the couples do housework together, I guess it may be a good way to reduce the conflict and increase their love to each other. Of course, there are far more reasons. My supporting points for my argument are listed as follows.
First of all, quite a lot husbands believe that the wives are born to do housework,which is unreasonable. The sexual equality should not only be emphasized in the workplaces, but also should be reflected in the house. So in order to be a modern gentleman, the husbands should shoulder their responsibilities both in the society to work hard,and at home by doing housework.
Secondly, if the husband can share the household chores with the wife, the relationship between them can be strengthened. Unfortunately, influenced by tradition, most men are unwilling to do housework, considering it to be unmanly.
Thirdly, if the couples do housework together, the wives would feel like their husbands really care about them, instead of treating them like servants. In practice, they found theopposite, with conflict falling, and well-being going up.(不懂你最后一句想表达什么,从in practice到going up,没法改啊.）
Generally speaking, men and women should share the housework. Only If the men play a more careful and responsible role in their families, simply by helping their wives to do the housework, can the families become more harmonious.
