[1] How time flies!Two months’ summer vacation is over now.But I consider it an unforgettable summer holiday.In order to get some additional experience as well as to earn some money to pay for my tuition,I found a temporary job in a restaurant,which was for away form my home.There I worked as a waitress.When customers entered the restaurant,I would guide them to the table they had reserved or just a vacant one,served them tea and took their order,then passed the order to the kitchen.And after the dishes were done,I would serve them immediately.Once the diners left,I must go to clean the table for next diners.There I learned that a good waitress or waiter must keep an eye on the whole restaurant all the time.After working for a long day,I was so tired that I wanted to do nothing but sleep.It was the first time that I realized how hard it was to make a living.I recalled the days that I spent at home and school.It was a comfortable life.Later for some reason,I quitted the job and went home.At home,I came to know how hard my parents had been working.I helped my mother do some housework; I also helped her in the fields.Though it was very hot,I had no complaint.I spent most of my time working with my mother,because I thought when I went back to college,I would have fewer chance to be with her and help her.In a word,I spent most of my summer vacation working.Though I felt tired sometimes,I consider it an unforgettable summer vacation since I’ve learned much about life and society.[2] Last summer I spent a two-week vacation at my aunt's place.My aunt lived alone in a mountain village,with a small river winding its course everyday.One morning I went fishing in the river,where two women washed clothes.I fimnd a most favorable point.Casting out my line I waited anxiously for a bite.Suddenly there came a cry:"Help!Help!" I looked in the direction of the call and saw a boy falling into the river.Throwing the fishing pole,I dashed over like an arrow,jumped into the river and swam very quickly towards the boy.Then together with his mother I carried the boy on my back to a nearby hospital.That boy was saved.The mother gave me a thousand thanks.Back to my fishing place,I fimnd my fishing pole floating on the water.I managed to get it.But to my great surprise,there was a big fish on the hook.[3] My unforgettable summer holiday Beijing will Hold 2008 Olympic Games!What an excited thing!And during the Olympic Games,we don't go to school,because we are in summer holiday!Now,the Olympic flame is ,soon it will arrive in Beijing.All chinese are very happy.We say "Welcome to Beijing"to the foreigners Our school will go to National Indoor Stadium to watch a race.I'm very excited about it.And I hope China will win.What a wonderful summer holiday!I won't forget it forever![4] An Unforgettable Holiday I am 'always busy with my lessons.What I have to do everyday is nothing but study.Luckily,last summer my family went to my uncle's farm.We enjoyed a really interesting holiday.During the holiday,I didn't have to get up early,nor did I need to finish many exercises.I rode the horse in the fields.I milked the cows on the farm.To my great joy,my uncle invited me to go fishing.Life on the farm is quite different from that at school.I want to go back to spend my summer holiday again.
