The traditional chinese festivals have endangered a crux, losing their popularities among the native chinese, however, the festivals in the western countries, like Christmas, are more concerned than ever. The Spring Festival which is one of the biggest events annually in China has dropped its popularity for the recent decades. Instead, they get addicted to the atmosphere of Christmas from the western world in some words. The development of the socity and the traditional culture should function as a whole which means the the advances of the social development should promote the development of the traditional culture. Why does the case concerning the chinese culture and the social development directly opposite?
The results of this phenomenon due to conceptions of the chinese traditional festivals and recognitions of the international cultures. At the very beginning of the reform and opening, citizens in China could only satisfy their basic living through hard working. However, as the improvement of the circumstances, nowdays we call for a balance between material and mental life. Even the chinese traditional festivals are not coming, we could consume all the same like what we have during the festivals. The internationalization of cultures, in general, could not be avoided, and it will be even greater as the development of the industrialization and technology. Because of the dramatic development of the western worlds which affect our daily from the basic living stuff to the high technological products, our traditional chinese cultures also confront a severe ordeal than ever.
Of course, we could hardly escape from the shapes of the western worlds, however, the chinese traditional cultures and the western cultures could function as a whole through the hardworking of all the chinese people all around the world which means all the chinese people should work as a group to boost circumstances locally in China and overcome the troubles of the development.
