英语中状语分好多种,大概常用有9种.比如：时间,地点,目的,方式,程度,比较等等.有好多成分可作状语.如：副词/介词短语 等

举例如下:

(1)I went to bed very late last night.其中last night 做时间状语(2)Tom was hit by a car at the street.其中at the street做地点状语

（3）Mary will go shopping to buy some clothes.其中to buy some clothes做目的状语

（4）Jim go to school by bus everyday.其中by bus 作方式状语

（5）She is so busy as to having no time for sleeping.其中as to having no time for sleeping做程度状语

（6）He is as black as coal.他像煤一样黑.其中as coal做比较状语
