This summer,I paid a visit in(in- to) my hometown.What had(had去掉) made.me really sad was that it had changed a lot .In (加上the) past. my hometown was very beautiful.with（加上a） small river run (run- running)through the village.tall and straight trees,beautiful flowers and green grass could be seeing (seeing- seen)everywhere.Nowadays,therefore(therefore- however),with the development of modern society,people are living a “happy”life.Many tall buildings are found on both sides of the river,so the river has been badly polluted as waste water runs directly(directly- direct) into it and there is(is- are) now few fish swimming in it. It was(was- is) time to take measures to protect our living environment.
