get常用作使役动词,意为“使”、“让”、“叫”等,后接复合宾语,其中宾语补足语可以是形容词、副词、介词短语、不定式或分词.
1.get＋宾语＋形容词
He has got his coat dirty.他把上衣弄脏了.
We hxdye to get everything ready today.今天我们必须把一切准备好.
2.get＋宾语＋副词
Get these chairs outdoors.把这些椅子搬到外面去.
I'll get the child home.我来接这个孩子回家.
3.get＋宾语＋介词短语
I've got him into trouble.我使他陷入了困境.
king could get all the people in his palace.在周末,国王让所有人都到他的宫殿来.
4.get＋宾语＋不定式
Can you get us to do the experiment?你能让我们做这个试验吗?
He couldn't get the car to start and went by bus.他因无法发动车子,所以搭公共汽车去了.
【注意】这里不定式的to不可以省掉,且to后加动词原形,意为让sb/sth做某事
5.get＋宾语＋现在分词
Soon they got the fire burning.不久他们就让火着了起来.
Let me try now.I'll get the car starting.这次让我试试看,我会使车子发动起来.
6.get＋宾语＋过去分词
I must get my bike repaired.我得叫人给我修理自行车.
Where are you going to get your hair cut?你打算到哪里去理发?
【注意】宾补为现在分词和过去分词意义上的区别就是现在分词表示的是宾语主动的行为,过去分词表示被动的行为,即使、让sb/sth被怎样
