语法上讲应该是to do.
可以用in the company of sb.
具体用法举例如下：
A:The boy went to the kindergarten in the company of his mother.
直译的话,意思就是：这个小男孩在他妈妈的陪伴下去了幼儿园.（主语是被陪伴者,of 后边跟的是陪伴动作的主动者发出者即行使陪伴这个动作的人）
B:accompany sb to do sth.
上一个例子,用这个词组就可以译成

但是,很明显,这样并不符合英语说话习惯.读起来,也显得繁琐累赘.所以,这个词组一般变化一下,采用下一种用法
C:accompany sb to a place陪伴某人去某地

这样就十分符合英语的语法和使用习惯了.
