以上两例中的不定式均作宾语补足语.如果它们被省略了,不但意思不完整,而且句子也不成立.如...allow us,...cause people 就说不通.
相反,如果作定语的不定式被省略了,尽管表达不够严谨,但句子仍然成立.如：...pay for the message 仍然说得通.
