This paper first introduces the basic connotation, the characteristics of nano materials and the development of history, and the methods of characterization and other related content; the current magnesium borate nano materials is introduced in detail, and then fully elaborated on his research work carried out. By means of XRD analysis were used to characterize the effect of different additives, system parameters on the final product, determined the optimum process conditions. The final results show that the Na2CO3 and Mg (NO3) 2 · 6H2O as reactant, respectively by NaH2PO4, Na2HPO4, 12H2O, polyvinyl alcohol as additive, the additive amount were 0%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2%, can obtain magnesium carbonate whisker product better.
