I bet that many of you want to know how did I learn English. Yes, there are many ways to learn them and probably everyone is different. Well, through a talk, you can just know how did I learned it.One afternoon, this Thursday exact. We had a class teached by the teacher in Class 3, Grade 3 called Miss Hu. After 30 minutes of the class, she left us 10 minutes to do something we like. And I took out one book of Harry Potter because I still wanted to know what will happen next in the story.Then, Miss Hu walked past me to the water bottle, when she was on her way back to the teacher’s desk. She saw me looking at the book. And she asked me how I learned English. “How long have you been learning English?” she asked.“I started when I was six,” I answered.“How did you learn it?”“Well, I’m learning Florida Treasures Grade 3 and Grade 4, the Phonics, New Concept English first book,…Of course they are quite easy for me…also the Reading A to Z for Kids, the ones on the computer of Go for it! Ninth Grade, I write English diaries, and I talk with children from other cities every day.”“Do you have any activities in English?”“Yes, I do. We always an activity on Saturday or Sunday on the computer using YY. We talk about some themes, usually I’m the host and I talk to many children from other cities, they usually each talk five minutes.”“I see. Can you understand all the words in this book?”“There’s only a few words which I don’t understand, I can understand the rest.”“So what book are you reading?”“That’s the third book of Harry Potter, it’s called Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.”Then, it was playtime, many of the classmates went out at once. I was still sitting on my seat thinking about what Miss Hu had asked me. I thought, my mom’s idea to let me learn English was really good because I can understand many more books, they are interesting stories in them. There are fables from other countries and they are in English. Plus, a new language is always nice and you can make more friends by using that language.I suddenly remembered that I wanted to read the book. Finally, another interesting adventure in the book of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
