very用的最为广泛,也比较口语化,

quite一方面有"相当,颇"之意,一方面有"完全"之意,例如

I am not quite ready.此时另外三个词都不能用.

too常带有提出意见之意,常与to连用,有far too...to;

fairly too..to的搭配.

so多用于赞美和感叹句,so that从句用的很多,是'那么'的意思,

另外,行式上too that,so that都对,但感情色彩上,前者反对,后者支持.

最后要注意,只有quite的位置可变动,即

只有quite a +adj.=a quite+adj.

其它只有一种顺序
