1.prefer sth to sth

2.prefer doing to doing

I prefer playing football to playing basketball.(与打篮球相比,我更喜欢踢足球）

3.prefer to do rather than do

=would rather do than do = would do rather than do（宁愿做……而不愿做……）

I prefer to play football rather than play basketball.(我宁愿踢足球也不愿打篮球）
