The full length of the CDS domain of duck LICAM gene is 3516 bp, the code consists of 1171 amino acids, with a relative molecular weight of 129772.1Da, which is an instable hydrophilic protein with an isoelectric point of 5.98. The protein contains a signal peptide, may be localized in the endoplasmic reticulum, containing the signal peptide, having five transmembrane domains, which are located in the domains of 0 to 29, 254 to 277, 424 to 442, 827 to 847 and 1045~1063, respectively; the homologue comparison shows that the nucleotide sequence derived from that gene has the consistency of 91.6%, 91.4%, 90.4% and 86.5% with original chicken, budgies, pigeons, zebra finch, respectively; and the functional site analysis shows that it contains 91 active sites, the sites of the amino acid sequence 59~78,133~148, 245~258, 477~507, 630~648, 669~680, 730~762, 866~886 and 1074~1098 domains may be the epitopes.
The present research analyzes these two gene structures, and lays a foundation for the knowledge of these two genes.
