用the same as不好变同义句,因为the same后面要加的是名词.
可以变成：Lucy is no uglier than Alice.
即：no + 形容词比较级 + than 和...一样不...

= Lucy is (of) the same age as Alice.
= Lucy has the same age as Alice.
= Lucy was born in the same year as Alice.
= Lucy is no younger than Alice.

= Lucy is as mean/generous as Alice.
= Lucy is no meaner than Alice / no more generous than Alice.
用both不妥,只能说明“两者都小气/大方”,而不是说“一样的小气/大方”.
