Zhou is very pleased and asks Zhuge to make the military order to his face,he then orders a feast to Zhuge.

Lu Shu promises Zhuge though he does not know why he borrow these ships,however when Lu comes back to Zhou Yu,he does not mention anything about Zhuge's borrowing ships,only says that Zhuge does not ask for any arrow-making materials.Hearing this,Zhou Yu has doubts and misgivings in his heart.
Lu arranges 20 quick ships for Zhuge according to his requests,Zhuge does nothing in the first two days,until in the late night of the third day,Zhuge asks Lu to the ship secretly.
At this moment,thick fog covers the river,it is hardly to see the other side clearly,Zhuge asks the soldiers to line up the ships as the head faces west and the tail faces east,then orders them beat the drums and shout.
Hearing the drum-beatings and shouts,Cao Cao orders more than ten thousand soldiers to shot arrows towards the river,Zhuge orders the soldiers to turn round the ships,the head faces east while the tail west,then beat the drums and shout,move closer to Cao Cao in order to get the arrows.It's beginning to get light,while the fog is still not clear,Zhuge's ships are covered by arrows,.
Cao Cao realizes he is fooled by Zhuge,however it is to late to run after his ships.After getting back,Lu told Zhou Yu the arrow-borrowing process of Zhuge.
