not any 和 no 均可用作形容词,其后可跟可数名词或不可数名词,两者大致同义,只是用 no 语气更强一些.如：
I telephoned,but there was no [wasn’t any] answer.我打电话了,但没人回答.
She’s unhappy because she has got no [hasn’t got any] friends.她很苦恼,因为她没有朋友.
但是,若用于句首,习惯上要能用 no,一般不用 not any.如：
No cigarette is harmless.没有无害的香烟.
No tourists came to the town that year.那一年,没有人到镇上来旅游.
No decision will be taken before the autumn.在秋季到来之前不会做出任何决定.
2.当not any中的any为代词时,not any不能用no代替（但可用none代替）.如：
There wasn’t any left.=There was none left.一点儿也没剩下.
前面说过,用作形容词的not any通常不用于句首,但是用作代词的not any可以用于句首.如：
Not any of these answers is correct.这些答案没有一个是正确.
经过分析个人感觉no更符合答案,语气更强一些吧
