-holds more authority; is more advanced than others when encountering a particular matter of profession
-one with a higher degree would get himself/herself well-equipped for the impending competition in the society.

Con:-Devoid of social experiences
-Lack of interaction skills(depends on an individual's personality)
-(can make a pre-assumption that in certain cases,an individual is only fond of gaining more knowledge that it may result in his/her introversion.
-more responsibilities to hold when answering a critical question (as in once he/she gets it wrong,their reliability and reputation will fall drastically)
