Cao Cao has a little son named Cao Zhi.
Oneday,Cao got an elephant which seemed so heavy that Cao got curious about how heavy it was.
Cao asked his servants to weigh it but there was no such big weight system.
Then Cao Zhi came and gave a really excellent idea.
He let the elephant stand on a boat in a river.and record how much deep the boat floated in the water.
Then he put many chunks of stones into the boat until the boat sunk to the same depth in the water just like the elephant in.
After that,the workers only needed to weigh seperately how much all of the stones are and sum up to get the total weight of the elephant.
