The sports meeting usually lasts a whole day. Each event / item must be finished within the day and its results are announced / publicised (==made open) on the day. The items / events are held within each of the Grades or each class of the grade. They are: the hundred-meter race,the 400-meter race, the thousand-meter race, the 800-meter race,the long jump and the high jump.All the students of the school are to watch the events on the playground.
