在肯定句 besides 和 except 含义相反,
besides表示“除了…之外,还有…”,
except表示“除了之外…,没有”.
如：I have many things to do beside washing clothes.
我除了洗衣服以外,我还有很多事情要做
We all agreed except him
除了他之外,没有人反对
在否定句 besides 和 except 含义相同
如 No one passed except Richard.
No one passed besides Richard.
除了理查德之外,再也没有人通过.
except和except for的区别在于,他们之间指代的事物是否是同类型的
如 they all went to bed except me.除了我,他们都去睡觉了.我和他们,都是人.
