在英语方面呢,补语都是指补充说明的句子部分.即当一个句子（除了补语部分）已经比较完整了,还有一些句子部分是充当补充说明的作用的话,那么那些句子部分就是补语了.
例如：
宾语补足语（补充说明宾语）
1.名词（短语）We made him [our monitor].[]内是补语
2.形容词I found it [difficult] to finish the work on time.
3.副词Please let him [in].
4.介词短语She always thinks herself [above others].他总是认为自己比别人好.
5.不定式（短语）The teacher advised the students [to have a rest].
6.分词（短语）I see her [entering a srpermarket].
主语补足语:（补充说明主语)
1.名词（短语）He was named[ Jack].
2.形容词He was considered[ honest].
3.副词She was seen [out].
