not only...but also是连接词.可以连接两个名词,两个动词谓语,两个形容词,两个副词,两个ing也是可以的.只要前后对等即可.

She likes not only swimming but also skating.

She is not only pretty but also kind.

He not only complained about the food but also refused to pay for it.

I will not only do it but also do it better than you.

I love not only my mun but also my dad.

She works not only hard but also carefully.
