I dare say是一个固定结构,不能改成I dare to say,它在句子中常常用作插入语,表示“我敢说、我想、或许、我且看”

例句：I dare say he is right.（I dare say是主句,he is right是省略了that的宾语从句）

等价于：He is right,I dare say.（I dare say在这里作插入语,插入语就是在句子中不充当任何句子成分的东西,一般有逗号隔开）

下面介绍dare的两种用法

当dare作行为动词的时候

一般用在否定句、疑问句或条件句中,可以加to,也可以省略to

例句：I don't know whether she dares to say that.Does she dare to say that?

等价于：I don't know whether she dares say that.Does she dare say that?

上面这几句是dare作行为动词的时候就这样用,而dare又可以作为情态动词.

dare作情态动词的时候

也要用在否定句、疑问句或条件句中

疑问句的时候不用加do,否定形式为daren't(跟其他情态动词类似,比如can)

作情态动词的时候,上面这几句等价于：
