This is a must-read children's classics.It's a story of the adventures of three children (Roberta,Perter,and Phyllis) of the Waterbury family along the railway lines near their new abode after they were forced to move to the country side as a result of their father being arrested and later sentenced to prison for espionage charges.What I enjoyed most from the story is their childhood innocence and kind hearts.To an adult like me,the book brought back my childhood memories,and then I couldn't help wondering whether maturity must mean the end of innocence and the embodiment of sophistication.I would dearly recommend The Railway Children to our younger generation and all parents.
